Surface Preparation

Proper surface preparation is critical for optimal performance:

• Ensure surfaces are firm, clean, and free of dust, oil, grease, curing agents, or loose particles
• Recommended cleaning methods: sandblasting, water pressure cleaning, or wire brushing
• Fill cracks, holes, or surface imperfections using Patch GSP 245

Mixing & Application Instructions

Mixing Procedure:

• Coat CEC 200 is supplied in pre-weighed two-component packages
• Mix each component separately for 1 minute using a slow-speed drill with a suitable mixer
• Combine components and mix 5–5 minutes until homogeneous without streaks
• Ensure the edges and bottom of the container are fully mixed

Application Methods:

• Brush or Roller: Apply in two layers at 0.85 kg/m² per coat, achieving 555 microns dry thickness (205 microns per layer)
• Spray Application: Recommended for large surfaces using a nozzle size 55–56. Apply evenly and allow first layer to dry before second layer
• Drying & Curing: Pot life: 5 min @ 50°C, 55 min @ 5°C. Surface dry: 25 hours @ 50°C. Initial curing: 50 hours @ 50°C. Final curing: 7 days @ 50°C
