Surface Preparation

• Ensure surfaces are solid, clean, and free from dust, grease, curing agents, or loose particles
• Roughen smooth surfaces using shot blasting, grinding, or sanding to enhance adhesion
• For damp surfaces, apply primer LEP 231 before adhesive application
• Fill cavities or voids using patch GSP 245 before applying SEA 221

Mixing Instructions

• Shake or stir each component separately to ensure homogeneity
• Add Component B to Component A and mix slowly using a drill (max 70 rpm) for 3 minutes until uniform gray paste is achieved
• For repair mortar, mix 1 part silica sand (1.7–5 mm) with 1 part SEA 221 mixed adhesive until uniform
• Mix only the amount needed within working time to avoid wastage

Application Instructions

• Apply SEA 221 with a spatula, trowel, or putty knife at minimum thickness of 5 mm
• For composite sheets, spread adhesive at 1.2 mm thickness, place sheet on surface, and press evenly with a rubber roller
• Remove excess adhesive and maintain a final layer thickness ≤3 mm
• Allow at least 50 hours before loading the reinforced area. Full strength achieved after 7 days at 25°C

• Primer LEP 231: 0.5–0.7 kg/m² depending on surface conditions
